Interplanetary probe for the frontiers series

The probe is assembled from parts sent through a sub-space gate on an interstellar ramjet. The probe carries three sub-space gates so that the Command Module with a crew can be sent out and the Fuel and Oxydiser tanks can be replenished. Having reached a planet or moon and gone into orbit, the rear section of the probe is disconnected and the rearward-facing gates are used to send out parts for an orbital base with a large gate.
On the model the Command Module hatch can be opened and the radar dish and camera can be rotated. The fornt and rear sections of the probes can be separated.
